Thanks to Defamer for pointing me to the "Grey's Anatomy" gag reel, a set of three behind-the-scenes videos that have mysteriously appeared on YouTube. The videos are heavy on the inside jokes, with writers and backstage staff reenacting some classic "Grey's" scenes and generally poking fun at themselves. Unfortunately, parts 1 and 2 appear to have been taken down, so if you got to watch Katherine Heigl's fake on-set freakout, consider yourself lucky.
Meanwhile, if you hurry, you can still watch part 3, which includes a montage of drinking scenes (hint: there are a lot) and some writers' room antics with a cardboard cutout of Patrick Dempsey. To watch the clip,

Too bad I missed out on parts one and three. When I tried to view #3, I got this message: <> Drats!

Loved the opening montage; I had forgotten about some of these moments and seeing them again made me smile.
